鼠列十二生肖之首，屬子。它與人類生活密切相關(guān)，從古代《詩(shī)經(jīng)》中的民歌《碩鼠》，到現(xiàn)在的童謠“小老鼠，上燈臺(tái)”，都離不開它的身影。從民俗文化角度看，鼠是具有無比靈性、聰慧神秘的小動(dòng)物。幾千年前，我國(guó)民間認(rèn)為鼠能通靈，就把它列入“四大家”、“五大門”的動(dòng)物原始崇拜，對(duì)其有獨(dú)特的敬畏。相傳鼠有創(chuàng)世奇功，天地未開之時(shí)，是它咬破天地泄露陰陽(yáng)之氣，萬物才得以生發(fā)。鼠借騎牛之機(jī)奪得十二生肖之首，被稱為聰明靈活、機(jī)敏善變的代表。鼠因繁殖力、生命力強(qiáng)，被視為家業(yè)興旺、繁盛不衰的象征。鼠通“數(shù)”，常與錢搭配為“數(shù)錢”，有財(cái)源滾滾、招財(cái)進(jìn)寶的吉祥寓意。
中國(guó)文聯(lián)副主席、中國(guó)民間文藝家協(xié)會(huì)主席、山東省文聯(lián)主席、山東工藝美術(shù)學(xué)院院長(zhǎng)潘魯生指出，如何進(jìn)一步認(rèn)識(shí)和發(fā)掘傳統(tǒng)的生肖文化意象，如何在流動(dòng)不息的生活里傳承和塑造生肖文化，如何以廣闊的視野、使世界各地更多的人們認(rèn)識(shí)和傳播我們的優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化，是藝術(shù)與設(shè)計(jì)的使命。可喜的是，越來越多高校師生和國(guó)內(nèi)外設(shè)計(jì)師參與到設(shè)計(jì)中來，這些精彩的作品不僅增添了節(jié)日的氣息，也提供給我們生肖文化發(fā)展的新的樣本和路徑，其中的設(shè)計(jì)語言、文化內(nèi)涵、民俗意義、生活視野等，能夠加深我們對(duì)于中華優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化的認(rèn)識(shí)、對(duì)傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日生活和設(shè)計(jì)文化的理解。
本屆大賽共收到全國(guó)301所高校的參賽作品6753件，國(guó)內(nèi)外著名設(shè)計(jì)師、漫畫家的特邀作品330件。參賽院校包括清華大學(xué)美術(shù)學(xué)院、西安美術(shù)學(xué)院、廣州美術(shù)學(xué)院、湖北美術(shù)學(xué)院、魯迅美術(shù)學(xué)院、四川美術(shù)學(xué)院、天津美術(shù)學(xué)院、吉林藝術(shù)學(xué)院、云南藝術(shù)學(xué)院、廣西藝術(shù)學(xué)院、南京藝術(shù)學(xué)院等全國(guó)知名設(shè)計(jì)院校,也包括同濟(jì)大學(xué)、南開大學(xué)、山東大學(xué)、四川大學(xué)、廣州大學(xué)、東北大學(xué)、湖北大學(xué)等高水平綜合類大學(xué);國(guó)際特邀作品來自于美國(guó)、法國(guó)、英國(guó)、意大利、俄羅斯、加拿大等30個(gè)國(guó)家和地區(qū)。
經(jīng)過初審和終審專家認(rèn)真嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)?shù)脑u(píng)審,共評(píng)出獲獎(jiǎng)作品348件。其中:生肖創(chuàng)意大獎(jiǎng)空缺,金獎(jiǎng)2件,銀獎(jiǎng)6件,銅獎(jiǎng)10件,優(yōu)秀獎(jiǎng)30件,入選獎(jiǎng)300件。這些優(yōu)秀作品以極其豐富的設(shè)計(jì)語言展示出“鼠”這一生肖形象的千姿百態(tài):它們或勾勒神韻，或刻畫入微;或傳遞吉愿，或針砭時(shí)弊;或樸質(zhì)淡雅，或濃墨重彩;或詼諧幽默，或發(fā)人深省......但無論那種形式，都有傳承、有創(chuàng)新、有發(fā)展，讓生肖鼠這一傳統(tǒng)文化形象彰顯出現(xiàn)代品格，為我們呈現(xiàn)出一場(chǎng)場(chǎng)視覺盛宴。這些作品背后凝結(jié)著每一位設(shè)計(jì)師的智慧與汗水。在此，感謝大家的熱情參與和傾力支持，一幅幅經(jīng)典之作讓我們有欣喜、有觸動(dòng)、有感悟，讓我們有力量為當(dāng)今設(shè)計(jì)事業(yè)的發(fā)展共囊盛舉。
